Time is going by sooo quickly! Christmas just past, then Right back into learning, and most recently Mrs. Wideen and I had the amazing opportunity to visit the Florida Educational Technology Conference. What an awesome experience! We had the chance to network face to face with literally thousands of educators from around the world to discuss the importance of helping our students become more "digitally literate". We are genuinely trying to expose our students to the technology that is going to be part of their everyday life. One of the ways we are doing this is through our show and share blogs. We truly appreciate all of you doing your best to support this at home. We understand that there are going to be hiccups (everyone knows technology isn't always perfect, but we believe our perseverance will pay off! On a final note, we are going to have to request that toys and collector cards stay at home. They are really becoming a distraction and source of conflict in the class, and we really don't want to jeopardize the climate of our class and the work that the kids are doing.
